Mid-Autumn Festival is a Chinese harvest festival celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month according to the Chinese lunar calendar, when the moon is believed to be at its roundest and brightest. It is commonly celebrated with family gatherings, eating mooncakes and lighting beautiful lanterns.
